Edpilot Studio Private Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Kloner AI platform (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website or use our simulation platform.

By accessing or using Kloner AI, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Service, and information that is automatically collected when you use our platform.

A. Personal Information

When you register for an account or request a pilot, we may collect:

  • Contact Details: Name, email address, and organization name.
  • Billing Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing details (such as billing address and tax ID) for invoicing purposes. Note: We do not store credit card numbers; payments are currently processed via manual invoicing.

B. Simulation Data (User Inputs)

To provide our core simulation service, we process the data you input during a session:

  • Voice and Text Inputs: The audio you speak and the text you type during a conversation with an AI avatar.
  • Scenario Context: Any custom case studies, PDFs, or system prompts you upload to configure the avatar's persona.

C. Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Service:

  • Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and access times.
  • Session Metrics: Duration of simulation, number of concurrent sessions, and error logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for specific, limited purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: Processing your voice/text inputs to generate real-time AI responses and video rendering.
  • To Manage Accounts: Creating and managing your login credentials and organization access.
  • To Improve Performance: Analyzing error logs to fix bugs and optimize server latency.
  • To Communicate: Sending you invoices, service updates, or responding to your support requests.

Strict Data Usage Limitations

  • NO AI Training: We do not use your conversation data, custom case studies, or proprietary inputs to train, fine-tune, or improve our artificial intelligence models. Your simulation data is isolated and used strictly to generate the immediate response for that specific session.
  • NO Selling: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or simulation data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not share your information with third parties except in the following specific situations required to operate the Service:

  • Service Providers (Sub-Processors): We may share your input data (text/audio) with trusted third-party infrastructure providers solely to generate the simulation results. These include:
    • Cloud GPU Providers: To render the video stream.
    • LLM & TTS Providers: To generate the text response and voice (e.g., OpenAI, ElevenLabs).

Note: We ensure these providers process data in accordance with strict enterprise confidentiality standards.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information where we are legally required to do so to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, or a judicial proceeding in India.

4. Data Retention

  • Account Info: We retain your account information for as long as your account is active.
  • Simulation Logs: We retain technical logs of simulations (e.g., "Session ID: 123 occurred at 10:00 AM") for analytics.
  • Content: You have control over your data. You may delete custom avatars or case studies from your dashboard at any time, which removes them from our active systems.

5. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information. This includes encryption of data in transit (via SSL/TLS) and strict access controls for our internal team. However, please remember that no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. International Data Transfers

Our Company is based in India. However, our computational infrastructure (GPUs and AI models) may be hosted in data centers located in the United States or Europe. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in these jurisdictions for the purpose of providing the high-performance simulation service.

7. Your Data Protection Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., if you are a user in the EEA or UK), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

  • The right to access — You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
  • The right to rectification — You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
  • The right to erasure — You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.

To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email provided below.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Revised" date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. We encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
